Matcho Suba

With an inimitability that few can rival and a personal style that carries that right through, Melbourne-based and highly sought-after fashion designer Matcho Suba is a name to remember.
Since launching his namesake label in 2012, Suba has successfully translated poignant aspects of his life into his fashion label for women. From his extensive educational background and impressive portfolio of work with numerous international designers and design houses, Suba’s work offers elements of design that few others see.
Having always been driven by the story behind his collections and the pieces that make them, Suba’s approach to contemporary fashion design is one of an avant garde aesthetic with a distinctly modern edge.
Telling stories about elements of his life, journey and other impactful moments, Suba’s collections are the progression of a tale that so far has no end. Fittingly enough as with any progression, Suba’s developmental works are always advancing and new frontiers for the designer are being made a reality.
The Matcho Suba label was founded with a dramatic rooting in Australian culture, which Suba has used to further his work and appeal to publications and celebrities the world-over.
Constantly in-demand for local, national and international fashion week celebrations and festivals, the Matcho Suba name has moved from strength-to-strength in its infinitesimal existence.
Having developed from a predominantly black tonal palette to one of colour, texture and excitement, Matcho Suba is constantly breaking new barriers.
“All my life, creativity and all things beautiful are and always have been my passion. The Matcho Suba label is my own way of sharing what these things make me feel with the world.” – Matcho Suba.
